"The Effect of China’s One Child Policy on Elder Care"
Spring 2018
For my final Asian Conversation essay, I chose to write about the effect of China's One Child Policy/ 独生子女政策 (1979–2015). My essay aims to explore how this policy affects elder care. Topics analyzed include legal rights, government programs, and individual choice. You can read my essay here.
